Mission Statement: The Lackawanna County Fire Police Association shall be comprised of fire police units associated with fire companies in Lackawanna County and other surrounding fire companies having fire police units. We shall meet in accordance with the By-Laws to conduct business matters pertaining to the Association. We will conduct training classes pertaining to all topics that will enhance the safety of our members, other emergency responders and the general public. We shall proactively interact with other public safety agencies to foster good working relationships prior to being called to work together at the scene of an incident.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to one of our own, a family member to the NEPA Fire Police. Walter Nemkovich was a long time secretary for the Association, he will surely be missed.
